Artem Dyhtiarenko's wards confirmed their status as favorites in the first playoff meeting against the Rivne team. The latter had a chance to catch at least one of the sets, but in the end, fortune smiled on the opponents.
Two successful attacks by Polina Dziuba and an ace by Polina Herasymchuk provided "Bukovynka" with a confident lead already at the start of the match (1:3). However, thanks to a desperate game in defense, the Rivne players did not let their rivals go far along. And after Andriana Pavlyk's attack, they actually took the lead (7:6).
The Chernivtsi team quickly regained the initiative. Soon, the double block of Kristina Starostenko and Polina Dziuba forced Antonina Zhuk to take a 30-second break (12:14). After that, her wards continued to impose competitive volleyball on the opponents, but it was not up to them to turn the tide of the game - 21:25.
"Regina" started the next set strongly, winning three rallies in a row. Although Rivne did not manage to develop great success, at the same time they confidently led the score for a long time (9:8). One of the turning points occurred at the equator of the set, where the Zhuk team began to make mistakes more often and, as a result, let the opponent go further (9:12). It cannot be said that "Bukovynka" also acted impeccably, due to which parity was once again restored. However, as in the previous segment, the ending was completely left to Dyhtiarenko's team - 19:25.
In the third set, we also witnessed an equal and uncompromising struggle. Once again, we note the efforts of the losing team to change the score in sets in their favor, and they were close to that. Be that as it is, the volleyball class of "Bukovynka" became decisive - 23:25.
