"Halychanka-ZUNU" — VC "Bukovynka" 0-3 (16:25, 19:25, 17:25)
"Bukovynka" dominated throughout the match with "Halychanka" and in the end won an "easy" victory. The Ternopil team will end 2023 without a victory in the Super League-Dmart.
The wards of Artem Dyhtiarenko started the game powerfully: they had an excellent serve, and the players also performed excellently in the final stage of the combinations (2:8). Their rivals withstood the attack and in response organized their successful spurt. In particular, Maryna Mircheva's shots reduced the gap to a minimum (10:11). However, the terrible instability that haunts "Halychanka" throughout the season was once again revealed. The latter lost momentum, which led to a solid margin on the scoreboard — 16:25.
Polina Dziuba's power serve at the start of the next set knocked the opponents from reception. Of course, this also affected the attacking potential of the Ternopil team (3:7). Then the audience could have a feeling of déjà vu because Liudmyla Chornenka's wards once again returned to the game and began to demonstrate competitive volleyball (15:16). The end of the set was marked by a considerable number of mistakes that, in fact, did cost them a set - 19:25.
The first half of the third set was quite evenly contested (10:10). Dyhtiarenko even had to take a 30-second break to tell her players not to lose concentration. The time-out worked because after that they came out on the court with a completely different setup and soon brought the set, and with it, the whole match to the overall victory - 17:25 and 0-3.
