Artem Dyhtiarenko's wards won the second victory over the Balta players in the series for the bronze medals of the championship of Ukraine. And this time they needed four sets to win.
The first of them started with an even fight (2:2). Kristina Starostenko served next: two aces by the middle blocker put Bukovynka ahead (2:4). However, this in no way upset the players of "Balta", who continued to bend their line, due to which they seized the initiative (7:6).
Both teams clearly lacked stability, due to which the scales tilted in different directions (9:12, 15:13). Such a small handicap of the Odeschyna representatives lasted for some time. After Ksenia Ratia's glider, the gap increased to three points (22:19). However, the Chernivtsi team turned everything upside down and leveled parity. Soon Viktoriia Lokhmanchuk's accurate attack put an end to it - 25:27.
At the start of the second set, the clubs went toe to toe. Then, the Bukovynka began to have a lot of misfires, which somewhat slowed down their rhythm and gave the opponents an advantage (11:9). With each new rally, they made more and more mistakes, hence the result — 25:19.
The players from Chernivtsi drew conclusions in the break between segments, which is also visible from the score on the scoreboard. Almost every one of their shots in those minutes ended with an earned point (1:6). Thanks to a successful block, the Baltic women returned to the game (8:8). Then, with the efforts of Polina Dziuba, her team organized another rush and made a serious bid for triumph (8:13). The players still attempted a comeback, but it turned out to be unsuccessful - 19:25.
At the same time, there was no special struggle in the fourth set. The volleyball players of "Balta" were not able to do much both in attack and defense. For their part, their opponents immediately secured a solid lead, which was almost impossible to regain - 17:25.
