VC "Bukovynka" — "Regina-MEGU-OSHVSM" 3-0 (26:24, 25:18, 25:19)
"Bukovynka" and "Regina" opened the second round of the domestic women's championship with a face-to-face confrontation. Both teams have moved up in class this season. And so far in the Super League-Dmart, things are going better for the girls from Chernivtsi.
Artem Dyhtiarenko's wards predictably seized the initiative from the start. The Kaplanski sisters, who appeared together at the start, successfully completed the combinations of "Bukovynka" (5:3). However, this advantage was quite shaky, as their opponents showed when they made a spurt. Anastasiia Zgurska (6:7) was the most effective member of "Regina" in those minutes.
The Rivne players decided to do more, namely, they increased their margin to seven (!) points (8:15). For their part, the Chernivtsi girls made a lot of mistakes, and almost every attack of theirs was met by a block of rivals. However, it didn't last long, because the Bukovynka felt their game and soon after Kateryna Huseinova's spectacular spike, they came close to the face-off by one point (17:18).
The effective actions of Andriana Pavlyk helped "Regina" to stabilize the situation on the court. However, the team of Artem Dyhtiarenko was actually already difficult to stop: the double block of Polina Dziuba and Kateryna Cherkashyna, and it's a draw (23:23). The highlight of this set was the final long rally, which was completed by Maria Kaplanska with a powerful shot - 26:24.
In the next set, the teams also did not want to let each other go far (10:8). On the other hand, Antonina Zhuk's wards often missed their serves, which somewhat hindered their chances of a comeback. Later, they began to respond in the same way on the other side of the grid. As a result, not only the general picture of the meeting but also the numbers on the scoreboard (15:15) were equalized. After the time-out from Bukovynka, Kateryna Cherkashyna distinguished herself with two aces, which, in fact, became decisive - 25:18.
The volleyball players from Rivne started the third period more actively, due to which they took the lead in the score (6:9). But a time-out from Dityarenko once again turned the tide of the confrontation (10:9). And in the future, only his wards were in the lead - 25:19.
