Andrii Romanovych's wards defeated the players of "Regina" in the opening game of the second game day of the 3rd round of the Super League-Dmart. In an even confrontation, the class of the teams was decisive.
Representatives of Odesa took the initiative from the opening minutes (4:2). However, Daria Hriazina's ace and Anastasiia Zgurska's successful block leveled parity. "Regina", inspired by this local success, soon took the lead (6:8).
We should note the game of the Rivne team in defense — from an organized block to brave actions in the back zone under the leadership of libero Tetiana Lustiuk. In addition, the attackers were not excluded either: Andriana Pavlyk and the company simply were on fire in the attack. All this together led to a serious gap between the teams (7:15).
Towards the end of the set, Veronika Peknych was injured, after which the game of "Regina" frankly became less efficient. So the Balta team came closer to the goal by a distance of two points (21:23). A shot to the antenna of Iryna Nohina was decisive, which moved the match into the second set - 22:25.
The next set started with the constant change of the leader (3:2, 5:6). Closer to its equator, Andrii Romanovych's wards made a spurt (14:8). In many ways, thanks to the hard serve of Anastasiia Malysheva. At a certain moment, the players of "Balta" began to make simple mistakes, for example, the positional fault. This allowed their opponents to get back into the game, but not for long - 25:20.
The reception of the representatives of Rivne in the third set did not stick either. And in general, the team resembled its pale shadow. On the other side of the net, on the contrary, every action was successful and even more. Almost every attack of the Balta team ended productively - 25:6.
After a total advantage in the previous set, the volleyball players of "Balta" secured a comfortable handicap (7:3) in an inspired mood, and then stopped for some reason. Antonina Zhuk's team took advantage of this, returning the intrigue (10:10). It lasted until the end of the set, where Andrii Romanovych's wards were more successful — 25:23.
