The second round of qualification for Euro-2023 (U-17)
Group E: Belgium, Estonia, Kosovo, Ukraine
Our athletes will go to Kosovo on April 18. The long road should not interfere with their morale, because everyone perfectly understands the responsibility of these games.
- We will do everything that's possible to get to the European Championship, - said Anastasiia Kotlyarenko, the coach of the blue and yellow team. - The experience of performances in the Super League-Dmart should help us in this. As part of preparations for the competition, in addition to the matches of the championship of Ukraine, we held a sparring session with the second team of "Alanta", and we also plan to play against one of the teams from Chernivtsi.
As we mentioned above, among the opponents of Ukrainians in this qualifying round of the European Championship will be players from Estonia. We would like to remind you that the girls met each other in the championship of the East European Volleyball Zonal Association (EEVZA), where our opponents celebrated a 3-1 victory.
- Yes, unfortunately, we lost to Estonia in the EEVZA championship. However, we have already worked on the mistakes, so we are looking forward to the next meeting, - said Anastasiia Serhiivna.
