Gariy Yegiazarov's wards once again dealt with the Balta players in the Super League-Dmart. Now we can officially congratulate the Dnipro team on reaching the semifinals of the competition. We would like to remind you that "Prometey" also qualified there ahead of time.
The own mistakes of the volleyball players of "Alanta" at the start of the match allowed their opponents to take the lead (1:3). Soon, successful attacks by Daria Skliarova and Iryna Nohina increased the gap between the sides to four points (2:6).
The team of Dnipro seized the initiative even before the equator of the party, and soon Maria Protsenko led her team to the front (9:8). Next, we witnessed so-called "swings", because the scales tilted in different directions. For example, after two tight serves by the aforementioned Nohina, Balta regained the lead (14:16).
After a while, Kateryna Dzendzelovska's line fault during the service forced Yegiazarov to take a second time-out at that moment, because the numbers on the scoreboard were clearly not in favor of his athletes (17:20). We can state that the break did not work because such a handicap remained until the end of the set - 22:25.
Inspired by the previous success, representatives of Odesa continued to dictate their terms to their opponents (2:6). Instead, there was a rotation in "Alanta": Yuliia Kaminska and Bohdana Hrytsyk first appeared on the court, and then Lidiia Luchko, which greatly enlivened the game of this team.
In addition, the Kseniia Puhach/Stanislava Parfonova relationship began to work well. It was not easy for the Balta team to attack at the first pace of this blocking team (9:6). Looking ahead, let's say that Kseniia became the MVP of the meeting. Andrii Romanovych's wards still tried to save the set, but it didn't work - 25:19.
The teams had an equal start in the third game segment (3:3). Next, Kaminska completely knocked out the opponents from the reception and helped "Alanta" secure a comfortable lead (9:3). This moment was a turning point in this set, because the advantage of the Dnipro team only grew with each rally - 25:15.
The fourth set was the final in this confrontation. One got the impression that the Balta team finally lost faith in their own success. What can you say about their opponents, who immediately took courage and won the set literally in one breath - 25:10.
