"Alanta" — SC "Balta" 3-0 (25:12, 25:21, 25:17)
Gariy Yegiazarov's wards overcame the resistance of the Balta team and equaled "Prometey" in terms of victories. However, the current champions of Ukraine have two matches in reserve.
Both teams demonstrated a good pace and a relatively even game at the start of this meeting (6:5). Then the representatives of "Alanta" added in actions over the net. After they "covered" Iryna Nohina with a block, the distance between the teams was already four points (9:5). Andrii Romanovych responded with a timeout. However, after a 30-second break, the Dnipro team did not lose momentum - 25:12.
In the next set, the Balta team began to act more variably in attack. In addition, the wards of Gariy Yeghiazarov themselves made too many mistakes (3:6). "Alanta" did come to their senses, and soon the double block of Stanislava Parfonova and Lidiia Luchko equalized parity, and in the next episode, Marta Fedyk brought her team forward. Later, the sides exchanged local spurts, but the end of the set remained entirely for the Dnipro club — 25:21.
The successful actions of the captain of "Alanta" in the third period helped her team break away in the score (8:5). On the opposite side of the net, the players had absolutely nothing going for them both in attack and defense. Hence the final result — 25:17.
