"Epicenter-Podolyany" - "Barkom-National Team of Ukraine U-18" - 3:0 (25:18, 25:19, 25:15)

In the first match of the 2nd game day of the VIII round of the Super League-Budinvest, the leader of the current season "Epicenter-Podolyany" and the outsider "Barkom-National Team of Ukraine U-18" met on the court. To be honest, no one expected a crazy fight today but also no one would ever refuse to watch the emotions and a good quality volleyball.

However, the team from Horodok played their game calmly without any problems and, by the way, without a lot of emotions. Let's add that middle blocker Maksym Drozd returned to the court after his injury and was immediately involved by Serhii Yevstratov. The "Young team" tried to impose a fight, but did not get the desired success. The starting set remained in favor of Epicenter - 25:18.

The second set turned out to be tenser. Volodymyr Romantsov's team did not let the formidable opponent go far away in the score (11:11). Then the aforementioned Maksym Drozd appeared on the serve and made two aces. From this we can conclude that everything is fine with the finger that he broke on New Year's Eve (14:11). Then the set again takes place in a calm atmosphere, which was controlled by "Epicenter" - 25:19.

After a long break, the "National Team of Ukraine U-18" desperately tried to resist the current winner of the PVLU League Cup (8:6). But in just a few rallies, the Horodok team regained the lead (14:10) and easily won their 16th victory in the Super League-Budinvest - 25:15 and 3:0.

The most effective player of the match was the middle blocker of "Epicenter" Maksym Drozd. He brought his team 14 points and recieved the MVP award.
