In the only match of the second game day of the seventh round of the Super League-Dmart, "National Team of Ukraine U-17" and "DobroDiy-Meduniversitet-ShVSM" from Vinnytsia met. In the previous meetings of the teams, the Vinnytsia club was stronger, but in the second match, the "national players" managed to win one set and in general showed quite attractive volleyball.
Unfortunately, there was a distinct lack of intrigue in today's match. The match started with a powerful 9:1 "DobroDiy" surge. Even at the moment when the opponent scored 6 points, the head coach of "National Team of Ukraine U-17" Volodymyr Podkopaiev took a time-out, during which the mentor emphasized the attention of his wards on numerous mistakes. However, the girls were unable to step up their game. The club from Vinnytsia confidently left the opening set behind with a score of 25:13.
In the debut of the next set, one of the youngest teams of our championship managed to impose an already more intense struggle on the opponent. However, with the score tied at 7:7, the club from Vinnytsia created a more or less comfortable gap with a 5:0 run. This spat largely decided the fate of the set. "National players" made a lot of effort to get the opponent, but "DobroDiy" did not miss the initiative and won the second game in a row.
After a ten-minute break, the National Team of Ukraine U-17 made another attempt to change the course of the game, when they established a 6:4 lead in the third game. However, in the first half of the set, "DobroDiy-Meduniversitet" regained the initiative - 13:9 in favor of the players from Vinnytsia. Their opponents clearly lacked the necessary emotions today. And without it, it is twice as difficult to face one of the best teams in the championship.
"DobroDiy-Meduniversitet" won the set with a score of 25:16 and 3:0 in the match in general. This success allowed the team to return to the first position at the tournament table. "National team of Ukraine U-17" remained in 4th place.
