On March 7, another confrontation took place within the first round of the men's Super League-Dmart play-out of the 2023/24 season. On this day, the volleyball players of "Burevisnyk-ShVSM" and VSC "Bukovyna" met in an interesting match.

The teams started this match with a long rally, which ended in favor of the players of Chernivtsi. However, the latter failed to develop its success immediately. After all, the representatives of "Burevisnyk" worked closely on the block. Closer to the middle of the set, the initiative did pass to the side of Bukovyna. For example, after Artem Troianovskyi's ace, the gap between the teams was already three points, and it only kept growing.
Despite the insane advantage of Volodymyr Orlov's wards during the set (10:19), the Chernihiv team did not give up. They managed to minimize the number of their mistakes and, as a result, stabilize the game on the court. Soon after a successful double block by Yaroslav Savkiv and Denys Karpenko, "Burevisnyk" reduced the gap to a minimum. However, Artem Alieksieienko's serve into the net was fatal for him - 23:25.
At the start of the next set, we witnessed an uncompromising struggle (6:5, 9:9). Although the comeback of the players from Chernihiv did not take place the day before, one got the impression that the sport gave them a lot of confidence. Because for a long time they were closer to winning the second set (16:13, 21:18). In the end, they got their way, leveling the parity at 25:20. It is interesting that Alieksieienko put the full stop here with an accurate shot, fully rehabilitated for the above-mentioned mistake.
Thanks to the efforts of Maksym Svyrydov, who, in particular, served two aces in a row, the Bukovyna team organized a breakthrough (1:4). After some time, his teammates started making mistakes in the attack, due to which the opponents not only played this handicap back but even took the lead (10:9). The initiative continued to change hands. In the end, the balance tipped in favor of Chernivtsi - 25:27.
Given the intensity of the previous sets, it was very difficult to determine the winner of the fourth one in advance. This was immediately confirmed once again by the volleyball players from both sides (4:4). However, at a certain moment in the game of "Burevisnyk" there was a decline: little began to come out both in the attack and in the defense. Hence the result — 20:25.
The MVP award went to Taras Oleksiuk the opposite of VSC Bukovyna.
