"Alanta" — "Halychanka-ZUNU" 3-1 (25:6, 22:25, 25:18, 25:23)
In the opening match of the 7th round of the Women's Super League-Dmart, "Halychanka" sensationally took a set against "Alanta". However, despite all efforts, the Ternopil team could not get hold of the points.
The Dnipro players started this match strongly, winning five rallies in a row. Liudmila Chornenka reacted with a timeout. After that, her wards almost immediately changed the score, but their opponents continued to set a high bar in attack.
The representatives of "Alanta", combining, scored points for every taste. As a result, the technical roll shot of Marta Fedyk forced the coach of "Halychanka" to take advantage of the second break. At the same time, the gap between the teams only grew - 25:6.
Then everything became more interesting. Because the Ternopil team clearly drew conclusions after the above-mentioned crushing defeat and even before the end of the second set scored more points than in the entire previous set (11:7).
In addition, the players of "Halychanka" had a powerful serve, due to which they recorded more than one ace in their asset. Gariy Yegiazarov performed a total rotation of the lineup, replacing almost all of his volleyball players on the court. This led to the fact that the team from Ternopil turned everything upside down, finishing the set in their favor - 22:25.
In the third set, Chornenka's wards produced something incredible: the athletes gathered courage and organized a rush (1:7). In fact, after 25:6 it was strange to see "Alanta" in the role of catching up for a long time, especially when the main line-up had already returned to the court. However, step by step, the Dnipro team managed to first equalize the parity, and later to triumph - 25:18.
"Halychanka" showed its teeth in the next set as well (3:7). It was noticeable that Yegiazarov's team had not yet fully regained their confidence even after the latest success. After all, there were many errors in all game elements. In particular, Maryna Mircheva took advantage of the problems at the reception: first, she served a powerful serve, and then she finished the rally (6:10). Subsequently, we witnessed a so-called "swings", and as a result, the scales tilted in favor of "Alanta" - 25:23.
