SC "Balta" — "Regina-MEGU-OSHVSM" 2-3 (22:25, 24:26, 25:22, 28:26, 11:15)
The match between "Balta" and "Regina" took place within the framework of the rescheduled 6th round of the championship of Ukraine. Therefore, for both teams, it was already the third match in this game week. Despite this fact, we witnessed a dynamic and intense game, as a result of which the Rivne team triumphed on the tiebreak.
The Rivne team predictably built the main part of their attacks through Andriana Pavlyk, who, by the way, became the MVP of the meeting. On the other side of the net, the players acted more variably, but it did not always bear fruit (10:12). A 30-second break from the coach of the Balta team, and then a change of setters did not improve the situation. On the contrary, "Regina" increased its lead to four points thanks to a successful block (15:19). Soon it was Andriana who put an end to the first set with a well-performed spike - 22:25.
An even game marked the beginning of the second set. Then the teams exchanged local spurts and eventually returned to their original positions (13:13). Anastasiia Zgurska's first-pace attack to out and the double block of Anna Lysa and Daria Skliarova brought "Balta" closer to the first won set in this meeting (15:13). And in fact, they were very close to it, especially at 23:20. However, Antonina Zhuk's wards continued to believe in themselves and, in the end managed to make an incredible comeback - 24:26.
The development of the third set was reminiscent of the previous ones: the representatives of both clubs were constantly going hand in hand, so it was very difficult to predict the winners in advance (12:12, 20:20). At the end, the Rivne team made a lot of unforced errors, which cost them the set - 25:22.
Andrii Romanovych's team, inspired by the previous success, successfully started the fourth set (2:0). But once again in this confrontation, "Regina" did not give up, for which the girls should certainly be praised. In the final set, the rivals had equal chances for victory. In the end, the scales were more or less tilted in favor of "Balta" - 28:26.
The tie-break turned out to be no less impressive, but in the end, fortune smiled on the representatives of Rivne - 11:15. This victory was the second for them in the current season.
