VC "Bukovynka" — "Alanta" 1-3 (23:25, 16:25, 25:22, 19:25)
It is safe to say that the confrontation between "Bukovynka" and "Alanta" met the expectations of domestic volleyball fans. The match, which lasted a little over two hours, ultimately ended with the triumph of the Dnipro team.
Artem Dyhriarenko gave a chance to prove themselves from the starting minutes to the players who came out during yesterday's match against "Balta" and helped their team to win a strong-willed victory, namely: Daria Kaplanska, Kateryna Silchenkova, and Veronika Tverda. These and other "Bukovynka" volleyball players started this meeting with no less confidence (7:3).
However, on the other side of the net, they quickly got used to the attacks of the players of Chernivtsi, so the advantage of the latter began to melt before our eyes. Soon, Lydiia Luchko's ace put Alanta ahead (10:11). The Dnipro team organized a comfortable spurt (16:22), and it seemed that they would calmly bring the set to their victory.
However, as often happens in volleyball, "Bukovynka" seized the initiative and restored parity (23:23). A powerful attack by Yuliia Kaminska and an unforced error by her opponents still ended the set in favor of Gariy Yeghiazarov's team - 23:25.
The first half of the next set was a failure for the Chernivtsi club (4:12). The substitution of the setter helped to stabilize the situation on the court. By the end of the set, the line-up of "Bukovynka" has almost completely changed. The team noticeably added on the block, but the gap between the sides was too big for a comeback — 16:25.
However, the third set was more interesting: representatives of "Bukovynka" appeared on the court with a clear desire to win. For their part, the volleyball players of "Alanta" were not going to lose momentum, so we witnessed an equal and uncompromising fight (7:7).
At the equator of the set, it was the Chernivtsi team who was closer to triumph (11:8). Subsequently, Kateryna Dzendzelovska, coming on as a substitute for Yuliia Kaminska, knocked out her opponents from the reception and distinguished herself with more than one ace (11:14). But the teams changed roles again quite quickly (19:15). Such "swings" continued until the very end, where "Bukovynka" turned out to be more successful - 25:22.
After the intense previous three sets, it was clear that the players of both clubs were kind of tired. That's why Gariy Yegiazarov decided to refresh the game in the attack: the appearance of Bohdana Hrytsyk and Mariia Lozinska gave a new impetus to the attack of "Alanta" (16:19). At that time, it was difficult both physically and psychologically for "Bukovynka" to overcome such a handicap - 19:25.
