SC "Balta" — VC "Bukovynka" 1-3 (25:17, 17:25, 18:25, 22:25)
The Chernivtsi team proved to be stronger than Balta once again in this season. This was shown by the second match between the teams in the Super League-Dmart, which ended with the victory of Bukovynka. Therefore, the rematch of Andrii Romanovych's wards did not take place.
However, it was the representatives of Odesa that seized the initiative from the first minutes. They knocked out their opponents from the reception, which became the starting point of their confident spurt (13:5). Artem Dyhtiarenko used the second time-out at that moment. After the second one, "bukovynka" slightly reduced the gap, but not for long - 25:17.
The Bukovynka coach made a number of substitutions: Daria Kaplanska, Kateryna Silchenkova, and Veronika Tverda appeared on the court. At the start of the second set, after an unsuccessful attack attempt by Daria Skliarova, the representatives of Chernivtsi took the lead for the first time in this match. However, their own mistakes prevented them from immediately increasing the gap, in particular, on the serve (6:6).
The even game continued (14:15). At a certain moment, the volleyball players of "Balta" lost the rhythm of the confrontation, began to make more mistakes, and in casual situations. This led to the segment they lost - 17:25.
None of the teams wanted to let each other go by more than one or two points in the next set (8:9). The turning point was the middle of the set, where Kateryna Silchenkova and the company took courage in the attack. At the same time, Balta was only forced to throw the ball over the net due to low-quality reception (10:16). Soon Veronika Tverda's ace brought a set ball for Bukovynka. It was possible to implement it on the third attempt - 18:25.
The fourth set was similar to the previous one. It was nice to watch the game of both teams, which tried to combine and compete for every point (17:17). As a result, in such an uncompromising struggle, the scales tilted in favor of the Chernivtsi team - 22:25.
