The final match of the first game day of the II round of the Men's Super League-Dmart started with an even score on the scoreboard (11:11). The principal rivals have adjusted well for this duel. The first mistakes were made by the "lawyers", followed by a powerful attack by Mykyta Luban (14:12) and a little later an ace by Viktor Shapoval (16:13). Legionnaire Alen Didovic acted effectively in the attack (19:15). And, in the end, the players of Zhytomyr finished the opening set in their favor - 25:20.
Then the struggle intensified (7:7 - 11:11 - 18:18). The players of the Zhytomyr club were able to seize the advantage with their successful attacks and win three consecutive rallies (21:18). The team from Kharkiv was a little confused by the not-quite-successful ending and as a result lost the second set as well - 19:25.
After the second break, the fight started again, which was interrupted by two consecutive aces from Mykyta Arbuzov (7:5) and a block by Vladyslav Antonenko (8:5). "Lawyers" tried their best to keep their distance (17:13). And, in the end, they succeeded - 25:18.
In the fourth set, the players of Kharkiv's "Law Academy" were also in the lead (6:9 - 8:11). However, Viktor Shapoval's serve (14:13 – 21:13) and Mykyta Luban's attack changed the situation on the PVLU arena (22:14). Serhii Tereykovskyi's team turned the tide of the game and won a three-point victory over "Law Academy" - 25:14 and 3-1.
