The third game day of the first round of the men's Super League-Dmart was completed by the old principal rivals - VSC "Law Academy" and VC "MHP-Ladyzhyn-ShVSM-Kolos".
Fans of domestic volleyball expected an intense struggle. And that's exactly what happened. The starting part of the match turned out to be surprisingly interesting and kept the intrigue going until the last rally.
The teams attacked in turn, showed emotions, and generally good volleyball. During the entire set, the teams waged an absolutely equal fight and overcame the traditional 25 points. The game was going till the first error, and Vinnytsia made two straight away - 30:28 in favor of Law Academy.
The second set was similar to the first, but the opponents sometimes came forward one after the other (7:3 – 16:20). Kyrylo Peredrii's wards played well in defense at the end of the set, which earned them a +4 points advantage (20:16). But "lawyers" have a fighting nature and did not stop trying to catch up with the opponent. A little later, the score on the scoreboard equalized (22:22). And, as in the previous set, due to their own mistakes, the players of Vinnytsia could not record this set in their assets - 23:25.
In the third set, the picture was similar again, but the team from indomitable Kharkiv did not plan to stay on the court longer than for three sets (13:13 - 18:16). Serhii Kovalenko's team made every effort to finish the game with an "easy" score - 25:20 and 3-0.
The MVP award went to Law Academy's outside hitter and ex-captain of MHP - Bohdan Tatarenko.
