The qualifying stage of the 2024 European Women's and Men's Under-22 Volleyball Championship will be held on July 20-23, 2023. At the same time, the main draw games are scheduled for June-July 2024.

The European Volleyball Confederation has decided on the countries that will host the final stage: the Netherlands for men, and Italy for women. Tentatively, both tournaments will be held from June 29 to July 14, 2024. However, the exact dates will be known later.

Eight national teams of each gender will participate in the final phase. The format of the relevant qualifications will depend on the total number of registered participants. However, it is already known that a maximum of four teams will play in one selection group.

To determine the composition of the qualifying groups, the last ranking of the age groups U-22 (men) and U-21 (women) will be taken into account. In addition, the teams of the host countries will automatically advance to the final stage of the competition. This means that seven passing places will be at stake in the qualification.
