The fourth round of the EEVZA-2022 championship, which is ongoing in Daugavpils, Latvia, opened with a match between the national teams of Estonia and Ukraine. To preserve the chances of gold medals in the tournament, our athletes needed only a victory.

For most of the first half, the teams rubbed against each other, and on the court, there was an even fight - 14:14. Then, thanks to the organized actions on the block, the blue-yellow team seized the initiative and soon led the party to victory - 17:25. 

It was very difficult for the Estonians to equalize the parity, and they did achieve their goal. For a long time, the scales tilted in the direction of one or the other national team. In the end, fortune smiled on our opponents - 25:23. 

The third set did not go well for the Ukrainians: the girls could not realize their full potential both in defense and attack. At the same time, their opponents, on the contrary, played one of the best games in this championship - 25:19. We could observe a similar picture in the fourth segment of the confrontation - 25:21.
