On December 6, the EEVZA-2022 championship among girls' teams in the age category under 17 started in Daugavpils, Latvia. The blue-yellow team started their journey in the competition with a match against Lithuania.

Andrii Romanovych's team completely controlled the course of events on the court and ultimately won a convincing victory with a score of 3-0 (25:20, 25:17, 25:15).

The Ukrainian women will play their next match tomorrow, December 7, against the tournament hosts - the Latvian team. Start at 16:00.
