In the match between "Halychanka-ZUNU" and the national team of Ukraine U-17, it was decided who would take the fifth place in the Super League-Dmart tournament table, which gave the right to play against "Balta" in the playoffs and pass the meeting with the current champion of Ukraine - "Prometey".
"Blue and yellows" started this match more confidently. These girls demonstrated a combined and quite effective game — 4:9. The setter of the Ternopil club, Diana Holod, was looking for Valeriia Dryomova with passes, which was effective - 11:15.
However, the comeback was still a long way off. Liudmila Chornenka understood this quite well, so she took a time-out. Simple mistakes by the representatives of the Ukrainian national team at the start of the next period allowed "Halychanka" to take a 6:4 lead. Volodymyr Podkopaiev's team equalized the score, and then the "swings" began. In those minutes, both sides made lots of mistakes in serving and attacking. However, "Halychanka" did it more often - 19:25.
The blue-yellow team continued to hold the level even in the third set. For their part, the club from Ternopil did not act very well at the reception, because of which they allowed their opponents to secure a comfortable handicap of 4:9. After some time, two aces in a row by Vladyslava Hubenko returned the intrigue, but not for a long time - 16:25.
So, in the quarterfinals of the Super League-Dmart playoffs, Halychanka-ZUNU will play against Prometey, and the national team of Ukraine U-17 will play against Balta
